SPN 1010 Beginning Spanish I
One report we had to do in Spanish was a Cultura paper divided into three separate parts: Movie, Essay, and Culture. For the first section I watched Ladrón que Roba a Ladrón and wrote about what I saw and liked. I read a short essay in Spanish and told what it was about and what I could understand from it, and what I needed help on. For the culture part I decided to make empanadas, since I had never had them and wanted to try some for myself. I wrote about my experience in the report.

Reflection
I actually enjoyed the movie and culture sections a lot. The movie wasn't horrible and thankfully I could understand it with help from the subtitles. I was excited to make empanadas since I love trying new things and I wasn't even sure of what they were until I looked them up for the assignment. The essay part was boring for me, especially since it was hard for me to grasp what was being said without using the side-by-side translation. Not to mention I didn't find the story very captivating in the least.
